Privacy Policy

Effective September 9, 2026

1. About this policy

Blackstar Computers, Inc. (“Blackstar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information, and the choices available to you. It also applies to communications and recruiting activities. Separate agreements may govern services we provide on behalf of an organization.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. We collect account and contact information, content you provide or upload, communications, feedback, and application materials. Content may include messages, recordings, images, documents, and other information you choose to share.

Information from your use of the Services. We collect device, connection, usage, and diagnostic information, including IP addresses, identifiers, activity records, preferences, and information needed to maintain your account and provide personalized features. Diagnostic information may include content associated with your use, subject to your privacy choices.

Information from connections and permissions. If you authorize access to a third-party account or device, we may process relevant account information, content, and access credentials. With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate location, including background location where enabled. Payment providers may supply transaction and subscription information.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services; process your requests and authorized actions; administer accounts and payments; communicate with you; provide support; evaluate applications; protect against fraud and misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

Our Services may use AI and other automated systems to process content and generate results. We and our service providers process relevant information for these purposes, subject to the limitations described in this policy and any applicable consent.

4. Training and privacy choices

Blackstar uses submitted audio for optional model training and evaluation only with your separate consent and only for the limited purpose described when you opt in. That consent does not extend to other training purposes or to text, files, or connected-account content. General use of the Services does not by itself provide training consent.

You may withdraw training consent through the available account controls or by contacting us. Withdrawal stops new collection for training and removes recordings from future training exports; it cannot reverse training already completed. Private mode excludes your content from Blackstar model training. Your choices do not eliminate processing necessary to provide, secure, or administer the Services, including processing by service providers.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to service providers that support hosting, storage, AI processing, communications, payments, support, security, and other business operations. Relevant information may also be shared with third-party services you connect and recipients involved in actions you authorize.

Authorized personnel may access information as needed to provide support, operate and protect the Services, and meet legal obligations, subject to applicable restrictions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or other business transfer, subject to applicable protections.

Third parties may handle information under their own policies. The additional restrictions on Google data below take precedence where applicable.

6. Google user data

When you connect Google services, we access and process the account information and content covered by the permissions you authorize to provide the relevant features. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs must adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google Workspace data is not used to train general-purpose AI models, serve advertising, or determine creditworthiness, and is not sold. Human access and transfers are limited to the circumstances permitted by that policy, including your authorization, necessary security purposes, and legal obligations. These restrictions also apply to derived data. You may revoke access through the Services or your Google account.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, taking into account the nature of the information, your choices, and our legal, security, and operational obligations. Some records may remain after an account is closed where retention is permitted or required by law. Deletion from backups and service-provider systems may take additional time.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can manage available privacy settings, permissions, and connections, or request account deletion through the Services. You may also contact team@blackstar.inc to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain uses and disclosures. Additional protections may apply to sensitive information. We do not use advertising or data-broker integrations to sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority before responding. We will respond within the period required by law and explain any applicable exceptions. Where available, you may appeal a decision by contacting us or complain to a privacy regulator. We do not retaliate for exercising applicable privacy rights. The terms of optional plans and data-use choices are disclosed when offered.

9. International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Applicable safeguards are required where mandated by law. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on performing our agreement with you, legal obligations, consent, and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Services where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and operation of the Services. You can manage cookies through your browser, although some features may be affected. Our marketing website does not currently embed advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. It does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals; legally recognized opt-out signals are honored where required.

11. Children

The AI Services are intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and its effective date from time to time. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent for material changes where required by law. An update does not expand an existing training consent.
