MLE Internship (Summer 2026)

What you will do

• —Ship meaningful ML contributions to Blackstar's production systems.
• —Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review.
• —Work directly with senior engineers on technically challenging problems.

What we are looking for

• —Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• —Demonstrated initiative through personal projects, research, or open-source contributions.
• —Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks.

Nice to have

• —Experience with systems programming (C/C++/Rust) or ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX).
• —Published research or meaningful open-source contributions.
