Hardware (Electrical) Engineer

What you will do

• —Design schematics and PCB layouts for complex multi-layer boards.
• —Bring up new boards, debug hardware issues, and validate designs against specifications.
• —Collaborate with mechanical and embedded teams to ensure integration across disciplines.
• —Work with manufacturing partners to transition designs from prototype to volume production.

What we are looking for

• —Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent).
• —Strong understanding of power management, signal integrity, and high-speed digital design.
• —Hands-on experience with board bring-up and lab debugging.
• —Willingness to work between Shenzhen and San Francisco as needed.

Nice to have

• —Experience with RF design, wireless systems (BLE, Wi-Fi, cellular), or antenna integration.
• —Background in consumer electronics with an understanding of regulatory certification (FCC, CE).
• —Experience working directly with contract manufacturers in Asia.
